Tops in Tucson, April 5, 2013

Day trips with Jacque are always special. We went to Tucson and decided to visit Mission San Xavier first. Got there just as a tour was under way, and then we learned that a free concert by the University of Nevada Las Vegas choir was about to begin. They sang contemporary Catholic church music, a great delight.

Our lunch at the Opa Greek restaurant was very tasty. If Greek food appeals to you, this is it.

Before driving home we went back to the Fort Lowell Museum, on the site of an Army base in Tucson. They have an extensive collection of pictures and memorabilia from Arizona frontier days.
