Siphon Draw from Crosscut; Superstitions, December 13, 2016 | GPS Map | ||||||||||
Leaving home in the dark, you never know what you’re going to get on a sunrise hike. Anyway I started at first light from Crosscut Trailhead, hoping to catch the dawn colors. There were at least a hundred people hiking the Siphon Draw Trail, even on this weekday. Some were of my generation, but most were younger. I met another dozen or so on Jacob’s Crosscut Trail, hikers and horseback riders. |
