Meridian Mystery Trail; Goldfields, March 10, 2021 | GPS Map |
The Meridian Mystery Trail used to fizzle out in the middle of nowhere. “But it has been extended east, all the way to Idaho Road,” two fellows told me. Is it north or south of the Idaho Access, I forgot to ask. I’m thinking north, but I haven’t been able to confirm it with satellite imagery. It was a glorious day for hiking! I got to Meridian Trailhead just before sunrise, and found people sleeping there. When I returned, cars were parked all down the street. Met a dozen hikers on the trail, a little surprising on such a perfect day. |
