Corner Post from Broadway; Superstitions, January 7, 2021 Trail Map

My car was the first one at Broadway Trailhead in the pre-dawn light. It was soon joined by others. I met lots of people on Jacob’s Crosscut Trail, but strangely I had the Lost Goldmine Trail to myself.

Air temperature was in the cool 40s when I started. Everyone but me wore jackets. By the end of the hike it had warmed up to the 70s—ideal for hiking!

I thought about leading this hike for the Trailblazers, but Broadway Trailhead gets crowded. When I got back, cars were parked down the street, on a weekday.
