Goldfield Mountain Trailheads

Most of the Goldfield trailheads are turnouts from the road, unsigned but recognizable. They are shown on the map and listed below, with GPS latitude and longitude and directions from the Superstition Freeway (US 60). All GPS coordinates in this book refer to the 1927 North American datum.

The roads to all of the trailheads except Hackamore and Dome Mountain are paved, and the gravel roads to these trailheads are O.K. for ordinary passenger cars. Parking is free at all of the trailheads except Water Users; however, parking is limited, so hikers should car pool whenever possible.
